With the help of several kitchens and food experts, we have found the easiest and shortest route possible for you to cook the food of your dreams in the least amount of time.

Pressure cookers are of two types, electrical and stove top.

They both have certain advantages and work amazingly. If you know what they’re capable of and how to operate them.

Pressure cookers are your best way out of lengthy cooking and numerous other features that will have you experimenting and trying out new things all day long.

I am a working woman, and for someone like me, it’s impossible to stand around in the kitchen and cook for hours.

I have to manage my house and my work simultaneously, and sometimes it gets really difficult, but as mothers and wives, it’s our responsibility.

I have bought and used multiple pressure cookers in the past two decades.

Some impressed me really well, and some were pretty average and didn’t have distinctive qualities.

These cookers helped me reduce my cooking time massively.

I like to call pressure cookers as multi-cookers as they are best at cooking almost everything, varying from rice and broths to soups and stews.

If it is big enough, you can even make a whole roasted chicken in your cooker.

I have a small family of 4, so I usually buy a 6 quart pressure cooker but always buy a cooker according to your family.

Another one of my favorite features is that our old school pressure cookers have been here for quite a long time now.

Still, experts have now revolutionized pressure cooking by inventing their digital counterparts, which are faster, easier to use and even make your food more healthy.
I always buy my pressure cookers from amazon, as there is always some discount going on, and I get the best price for my product.

  1. Instant Pot Pro Plus Smart Multi Cooker, 6 Quart, 10-in-1, Pressure Cooker:

I mean what is there about this pot that doesn’t have my heart. It’s so lovely to use with all its beautiful features and options. You can certainly create magic by using this pot and always whip up something new to impress your family. Even if you’re a busy person, using this pot will always be a lifesaver for you, as it has been for me. I used this product for 5 years and believe me, even after 5 years it was in prestige condition. It also has 10-in-1 features with which you just click on what you want to cook, put the ingredients, and bam. You have your heart food cooked in minutes.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

To talk about a few of its surface features, it has a big LED touch panel where you can choose any of your favorites presets.

With its 10-in-1 prime feature, you choose a new dish every day and cook everything you love.

I have tried doing slow cooking, pressure cooking, steaming, searing, and browning in this pressure cooker. It does an excellent job in all those functions.

It comes in the perfect size of 6 quarts, which is definitely enough for a small family.

It has such a sleek and modern body and design that it will fit in with any kind of contemporary or traditional kitchen.

My kids love yogurt with plain rice, so with this pot, I can make yogurt overnight in the pot, and whenever they want it, rice is prepared in 10 minutes while watching their cartoons.

It has been a lifesaver for me because as much as I look cooking, standing in the kitchen for several hours has always been the most difficult thing to do.

Let me tell you the best feature of this pressure cooker.

It also has a wireless system, which is managed by the smart app and connected to the pot by Bluetooth.

Now I can easily regulate my pressure and temperature just by tapping on my phone.

I also have unlimited access to 800+ recipes that I can cook in my favorite pot.

Along with rapid cooking time and other features, this pot has a pressure releasing system, which is very safe for a newbie cook.

You can release the steam by clicking on the touch panel or just using your smart app to help you release the pressure.

The lid always seals securely, and I have never experienced any kind of gas leakage.

I would recommend you all save your time and get yourself an instant pot pro for yourself.

Pros
  • 10-in-1 cooking modes which cook your food 70% faster without any added fuss.
  • Very easy to use and also very affordable.
  • Easy cooling feature and pressure build up pretty quickly as well.
Cons
  • The smart app is not as functional as you would expect.

  1. Instant Pot Duo Crisp Large 6Qt 11-in-1 Air Fryer & Electric Pressure Cooker Combo:

Do you like pressure cooking but would also love for it to have the ability to cook some crunchy fries and fried chicken?

In the previous decade, I would have loved to have a pressure cooker which can also air fry some stuff, and I wouldn’t want to surrender a lot of storage space for various appliances.

Many of us have used other variants from instant pot, and we absolutely love their quality and features.

The pot duo crisp comes with a large air frying lid which goes on top of the pot, and the lid helps in quickly frying your food from all sides, making it perfectly tender and crispy.

I saw its advertisement a few months back, and I went to amazon to check for the product.

According to my expectations, it has 1000s of 5 star ratings and reviews from many satisfied customers.

I got a pretty great price on amazon as well, which I wasn’t able to get on other websites.

The delivery was pretty fast, and the package was in perfect condition with no dents or scratches.

This pot has worked amazingly for the last few months I have been using it and has now become an everyday staple in our house.

It is the perfect multi-cooker for all working women, as this cooker cooks your food in the least time possible and also contains a number of extensive features as well.

The big LED panel on the front makes this pot very easy to use and operate as you just have to click one of the desired presets and let it cook for the pre allotted time.

You don’t need to set any pressure or timings for the presets, but when you’re trying your own recipe, you can always take help from the manual’s guide, which comes with the package.

I have experimented with many dishes in the cooker, and believe me; I am in shock at how good the meal turns out in much less amount of time.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

As we all know that all variants of instant pot are easy and super friendly to use, so it’s the same with this duo crisp pot.

With the easily accessible LED panel, I was able to clearly understand the conditions inside the pot and timings as well.

The pot came with two separate lids, one is the basic pressure cooking lid, and the other is specifically designed for air frying purposes.

I used my air frying lid to broil, steam, fry (of course), bake, and dehydrate food.

The instant pot’s inner pot is 8 quarts, so I was able to roast a whole chicken in there, and my chicken was cooked perfectly 70% times faster than in a normal pot.

Because of the air frying lid, the skin of the chicken was crispy and crunchy, with all the flavors completely infused into it.

After the cooking was done, I released the pressure by pressing the release button, and poof, I was done.

Pros
  • Many accessories are added, such as a steaming rack and basket, air frying lid, and many other.
  • You can easily fry, bake, and roast, along with slow cooking, pressure cooking, sauté and cook rice.
Cons
  • It’s a little thick and bulky. It might take up some more counter space than your average pot.
  1. Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker:

Instant pot has now become a cult brand, having millions of users around the world, and all of its users swear by the functionality of this product.

Instant pot duo is the first pressure cooker to be produced by the instant pot company, and since then, it has attracted huge masses and crowds.

With its accessibility and easy usage, many people prefer this brand of electric pressure over other cookers as this one has the least number of negatives, which is near to zero.

It is available on various shopping websites, but when it comes to amazon, I know that I’m getting the best item which is perfect in condition and also sits within my range.

After reading multiple 5 star reviews about it, I finally thought to give instant pot duo a try.

Just like the rest of the variants, it’s loaded with multiple features and options for you to choose from, and in this way, you will get the best cooking experience you have ever had.

THIS BECAME MY BEST FRIEND when I was busy with work and had multiple chores to do other than cooking.

I would just pop in the ingredients, set the timer and preset, close the lid, and in just minutes, my hearty meal is ready, which is also very nutritious

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

I have tried multiple brands and multiple cookers, and I have never had a single complaint with the instant pot brand.

Instant pot duo is no different than the rest and mostly acquires all the same functions, but the fun fact is that this pot has a delayed cooking function.

I make the most use of this feature over others as I’m at my office all the time, and my kids are pretty hungry when they wake up.

When I’m leaving the house, I just have to put in all the ingredients, close the lid, and set a delay timer for when I want my food to start cooking.

It will start at the exact time, releasing the pressure automatically, and with the keep warm feature, my food would stay intact and hot till everyone is ready to eat.

My family loves Mexican food, and that takes forever to get ready.

I tried making my infamous chili beef Verde for an everyday dinner.

I had prepped my beef, jalapenos, onions, enchilada sauce, and spices beforehand.

I had to dump all the ingredients in the pot for the main part and set the timer for 30 minutes at high pressure.

After 30 minutes, the timer dinged, and I only had to release the pressure.

There was no need for me to go and check the food during the whole process as it would’ve broken the pressure level.

After the food was ready, I warmed my tortillas in the pot as it has an amazing keep warm option as well.

The food is ready for me and my family to dig in.

I definitely recommend my favorite pot for you and would really like it if you all would share your favorite instant pot duo stories with me too.

Pros
  • Stainless steel inner pot, which is dishwasher safe.
  • It saves time and reduces power consumption while keeping it healthy.
Cons
  • Silicon sealing ring, which retains food odor.
  • Glass lid and steaming racks are not included.
  1. Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker:

If you haven’t had time to join the craze of instant pot fans, then this is the chance for you to join in, and if you read this review, you will gladly buy the whole list of instant pot cookers.

I am a fan of instant, and I will always be their fan.

Nothing can change that fact, but to be honest, these pressure cookers have never even given me the chance of complaining about them.

It comes in 3 functional sizes, 3, 6, and 8 quarts, from which you can choose the perfect pot for yourself.

This 10-in-1 cooker has served as a replacement for many other pots and appliances in my kitchen. I mean look at the versatility of this thing.

The list of given presets starts from sous vide, slow cook, pressure cook, steam, yogurt maker, cake baker, rice maker, and so on.

How can you ever go wrong with a pot which has all of its timer and pressure settings already designated?

On the front, there is the big LED panel which kept me connected with the timer and pressure settings throughout the course of cooking.

It also has a delayed cooking function, but I wouldn’t recommend you use it if your ingredients have raw meat or fish, which can rot.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

It is unlikely that I will use every single cooking mode and setting of this cooker, so I had to test something which is very common in my house.

Rice is an everyday staple food in my house hold, and whatever pressure cooker I buy should be able to cook perfect rice in the least amount of time. So for that purpose, I used basmati rice which is available everywhere.

They don’t provide a recipe manual, so I had to fish through their website to find the water to rice ratio.

On the LED panel, in the middle of the presets, we found the rice/grain option, which I assume is used for cooking rice and other particular grains of the same sort.

The advised ratio was 1:1, which means 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rice. After setting up the cooker, the rice took almost 25 minutes to cook very fast.

I saw that my ordinary pot takes almost 40 minutes to cook, and with a normal pot, there’s also the hassle of looking over it and making sure that it’s cooking properly.

But with instant pot pro, there was no need for me to keep checking the pot, and I had a little break for me to put my feet up and relax.

My rice was cooked perfectly, but it did take additional 10 minutes to release the steam, which I found a bit annoying.

I decided to make a simple chicken curry to go with the rice. Again, very simple and easy to make and takes no time to cook.

I seared my onions and tomatoes along with the chicken for 5 minutes.

Turning off the searing preset, I switched on the pressure at the highest setting and set the timer for 20 minutes.

The lead sealed very tightly, and there was almost no voice when the food was cooking.

After the cooking timer was up, it took only a minute and a half to release the steam, and even the releasing of pressure didn’t make much noise.

The curry was perfectly cooked with flavors bursting in each bite, it was warm and hearty, and the chicken was so tender that it was falling off the bone.

The handles on the side of the pot are heat resistant, so you won’t have to worry about your hands getting burned.

This is perfect if you want a hands off cooking experience which lets you have a perfect meal and also a little bit of time to relax while it does its thing.

It certainly does what it’s expected of, and with a 10-in-1 feature, this is definitely a dream come true for all the instant pot lovers like me.

Pros
  • Easy grip silicon handles which make it very easy to lift the pot.
  • Simple and safe venting process.
Cons
  • No extra steam rack included, so you might have to buy that one separately.
  • Requires a lot of space on the kitchen counter.
  1. Ninja FD401 Foodi 12-in-1 Deluxe XL 8 qt. Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer:

The world that we live in is very fast paced and digital, and hence it has no space for time consuming methods.

Thus, new faster cooking methods are taking over the traditional recipes and giving people more time to focus on other things than just cooking the whole day long.

Even in our kitchens, we want appliances which can cope up with our day to day fast routines and to help you get a solution for the exact same problem.

We bring to you a Ninja Foodi deluxe pressure cooker and also an air fryer.

Isn’t it amazing that we are getting double benefits at a price for one?

Look at the advantages it will give you: less storage problems, less money to spend, and even less time in the kitchen.

We all need to invest in something which is versatile and displays an amazing overall performance, something which is able to slow cook, pressure cook, and fry in the same setting.

Ninja Foodi uses the same principle of using air steam to heat up the inside and cooks our food nutritiously while keeping the time limit to a minimum.

I have been recommended this cooker by many, and I read kind of mixed reviews about this, so in order to get a genuine opinion on this pressure cooker air fryer, I had to test its qualities and features myself.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

So, first of all, let’s talk about the super sleek and stylish design of the pot. This style gives it a very modern, futuristic, and contemporary look, which will go with any kind of kitchen.

Secondly, it has amazing volume, with a huge capacity of 8 quarts, I am able to make enough food for 6-7 people in my family, and it fills all our stomachs.

Just like other ninja Foodi pressure cookers, this is very easy to operate and handle and comes with side handles which do not get heated when the cooker is working.

So the most important thing about this appliance is that it is an air fryer and a pressure cooker, so let’s call it a multi cooker and see how well it is capable of cooking our food and then frying our sides.

Just by its looks, the pressure cooker seems very strong and durable.

The cooking pot and crisp basket, used for air frying, are also made of ceramic with a nonstick finish.

According to the manufacturer, this pot has 8 different cooking functions, which will be very useful for me as I work full time and do not have time to figure out pressure or timing.

With their multiple safety features, 14 to be specific, you can pressure cook all you want without having a single worry.

I love slow cooking ribs all night, and I always needed something to do it in a proper way without having to worry about checking on my food, and ninja Foodi literally helped me with all of those.

During one whole week of food trial, I made different dishes and was literally impressed by how well everything came out.

I baked in this pressure cooker, made rice, fried my favorite vegetables, even steamed them, cooked beef and pork, and you know what, not even disappointed once as everything was perfect, in short, it covered all my basics and that too without any worry.

With a big LED panel, I controlled all the functions with such accessibility that even a newbie or amateur could handle it easily.

It has 9 different functions where you can steam, roast, boil, or pressure cook literally anything I want.

The crisping pot even has 5 quart capacity in which I can fry large batches of chips or steam all kinds of veggies to go with the beef roast I pressure cooked.

I usually cook beef weekly, and ninja Foodi cooks my beef in less than 20 minutes.

I thought that it might be magic, that how one pot can cook everything so perfectly, without any kind of unsatisfactory results.

In fact, I would say that it performed multiple functions even better than all the other appliances of the same category.

Pros
  • A reversible ceramic pot is included, which includes air crisp technology and has a capacity of 5 quarts.
  • There is a blue light rotating on the display, which shows that the pressure is building, and this is an amazing feature so that you know how much time it takes to build pressure.
  • A cookbook and cheat cooking sheet is also included.
Cons
  • The crisping lid is not detachable, and that poses as a problem when cleaning.
  1. Presto 01362 6-Quart Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker:

If the thought of using a pressure cooker always scares you in fear of explosions, then I suggest you put that fair aside as the newer generations of pressure cookers are very safe to use.

With the new advancements and progressed technology, even the manual pots have become very safer to use, and without all the complicated buttons and stuff.

It is even accessible for your grandma who doesn’t know how to understand the digital pressure cookers.

I have always wanted to make the most of my time and spend it with my family.

Still, long hours of cooking made it impossible, so to speed up my cooking progress, I had to invest in one of a kind, versatile pressure cooker which offers me The best features at a very reasonable price.

After lots of research on stove top pressure cookers, I found the best one on amazon, and it was definitely at such a good price that I was tempted to buy this over the other products.

The package came in just two days with free delivery, and it was in perfect condition, with no dents or damage to the pot.

I even read all the helpful reviews of other satisfied customers on Amazon and saw thousands of 5 star ratings by verified customers.

If you wish to improve your cooking abilities you wouldn’t want to buy any pressure cooker off the shelf, but you’d like to be precise and careful about whatever you’re buying and if that thing is even suitable for your space.

For me, the stainless steel cooker from presto was the best choice.

With the perfect size and volume, I can cook enough food to feed my family, and that’s why I use it for daily purposes.

From meat to vegetables, rice to beans, what’s there that this pot cannot cook in the least time possible.

MY TEST AND REVIEWS:

As a manual pressure cooker, this is one of the easiest pressure cookers I have worked with, and that’s the reason I have never preferred anything else over my presto.

Even after years of usage, I have not spent much time and money on its maintenance, just the timely gasket and sealing replacement and the cooker keeps working like magic.

At first, I was confused about how to set the pressure and timing in this pot, but thankfully, the 64 page recipe book came to my help, and with all the easy instructions, I learned its operation in no time.

The pot is specifically designed to keep all the freshness and nutrition elements of the food inside the food while everything is ready and cooked to perfection.

After I bought the pot, it was time to test it, and for that, I had my already prepped vegetables, meat, and beans.

I decided to make a quick beef chili in the pot, which my whole family loves very much, and they eat it almost all the time and ask me to make it as well, which is a very lengthy process.

I seared the onions in the pressure pot, then seared the meat a little bit, and then added all the ingredients together with enough water.

With the help of the recipe book, I sealed the lid, and the sealing ring helped the lid to create an airtight force inside the pot, so no air or pressure escapes during the cooking.

When I’m making chili in a normal pan, it takes me a lot of hours of complete surveillance and stirring it the whole time.

But as soon as I started working with the presto cooker, my hours long chili was cooked in only 60 minutes, a record time.

It was as delicious as an overnight slow cooked chili.

This pot is multipurpose, so when I want to make a soup, I just remove the lid and use it as any ordinary pan.

This saves my time, my money, and my storage space.

There are additional accessories added in the packaging along with the pot and 64 page recipe book so that you can cook multiple kinds of food simultaneously without the fear of intermingling.

Pros
  • Durable stainless steel body.
  • Included safety mechanisms, like a safety pressure vent and easy locking lid.
  • 12 years of extended warranty.
Cons
  • Even when its deemed as dishwasher friendly, you’ll need to remove the gasket and sealing ring every time you put it in the dishwasher.
  1. Presto 01282 8-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker:

We are talking about a specific brand which has produced nothing but high quality pressure cookers and other appliances which have always been highly satisfactory for all our kitchen needs.

Even I and thousands of pleased consumers believe that presto is actually one of the best pressure cookers they have used in their entire life and would not exchange this with anything.

This pot provides you a very, very light body which is made up of ultra-durable aluminum.

Even with its light weight, the pot is very strong and heats up very quickly, and builds pressure very fast, which means even rapid cooking for you and meals are done in no time.

Another best part about presto is that none of their pots are priced very high, and they are easily found on Amazon, and you can even get free delivery.

My friend and I ordered ours from amazon as well, and believe me, and it was such a hassle free order.

There were no issues with the order taking, and the order tracking was a wonder as it kept me informed throughout the whole shipment, and the day it arrived, it was the most beautiful pot I have ever seen.

It is beautiful, shiny, and goes so well with my kitchen.

MY TEST AND REVIEWS:

Like my presto 6 quart cooker, it has numerous versatile features that are very helpful for a home cook like, and I always suggest everyone buy a pressure cooker and save some time and patience for yourself.

The presto 8 quarts aluminum pot works just as fantastic as the presto 6 quart pot, but this one has an amazing upside.

As the pot is made of aluminum, it’s very light to lift up and move, and thus I am not going to scratch my counter tops anymore while struggling to lift up the pot.

Second best thing is that the heat builds up very fast because of the aluminum, and when the pressure builds quickly, your food is ready even before the expected time.

To test out the much hyped qualities of presto’s 8 quart pot, which is enough for my 6 people family, I tried making Mongolian beef in the pot.

As easy as the recipe sounded, it was even easier to prepare the thing in the pressure cooker.

The pot comes in 3 different sizes so that you can choose your favorite one from the pile without any second thoughts.

I just had to put in all the ingredients, rotate the lid, seal it, and set the timer and pressure while letting it cook.

Beef is a well consumed food in our family, and I know that I have to include beef in most of my food but tendering it has always been so time consuming and hassling that I hated cooking beef.

But after trying out the presto cooker by making Mongolian beef, I’m happily surprised that within 20 minutes, my beef was so tender that it was melting in my mouth.

After the cooking, I had to release the pressure slowly and remove the sealing ring and gasket to put it in the dishwasher.

The cooker came along with stainless steel steam basket with which you can make two dishes at a time, keeping them separate.

As any sane person would do after reading this, go and buy your favorite presto 8 quart aluminum cooker as there’s nothing better in this world than cooking your meal without worries.

Pros
  • Maintains pressure beautifully inside the pot without any fear of leakage.
  • Aluminum helps in even heat distribution.
  • Quick cool option which lowers down the heat in the pot.
Cons
  • This pot is not recommended for canning or other heavy duty purposes.
  1. All American 921 Canner Pressure Cooker, 21.5 qt, Silver:

Finding a perfect pressure canner which is also easy to use but also keeps us away from harm, and sometimes it’s impossible to find something which is perfect in all aspects.

To find the perfect canner plus cooker for all your kitchen, you would have to consider various factors like features, technologies, performance, and price.

If a pressure cooker checks all the boxes, only then you will think about buying it.

For a person who doesn’t have much time to be in the kitchen or doesn’t want to use the old and worn out appliances of the previous times, canners and cookers have proved as an amazing kitchen partner.

We might have a very helpful alternative pressure canning if you have a new harvest full of vegetables and fruits and no place to store them without rotting.

If your harvest consists of low acid foods, like potatoes, corn, and carrots, you can only pressure them.

To provide an accumulative solution to all your canning and cooking complexities, I present The All American Pressure Cooker and Canner to you.

The pot is massive, like really huge, with a capacity of up to 21.5 quarts.

Imagine how much food you can cook or how much vegetables you can seal in this thing.

The pot might be intimidating at first, with all its screws and locks and a very big pot, but I’m sure, once you start using it, you would want to do it every single day for the rest of your life.

I have used several brands of pressure cookers in my life, but none has impressed me this much. In terms of quality, this one really takes the ball home.

The pot is made up of hand cast aluminum, extremely high quality. It has no gaskets or sealing rings.

I had to screw it securely with the help of screws, which created a metal to metal seal, which is very strong.

It is a stove top cooker, so I know I will have perfect control over its cooking, and nothing can go wrong even when cooking or canning big batches of food.

For your help, I collected my initial thoughts over the All American pressure cooker and canner and tried giving another tryout, just for the sake of my readers.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

As we all know that All American is a top class brand, with high quality pressure cooker canners, and their promise of quality is never ever compromised.

I have been using this for many years, and I cooked for large batches in this pot canned several jars in it.

With the manual dial gauge, I am able to regulate the pressure settings according to my need.

For example, when I’m pressure canning, I would need to maintain a high pressure of 15 psi, but when doing cooking, the pressure required is low.

As an honest and loyal customer of All American, I would give a very authentic review about this product, and let me just say, this pot has been my savior.

My husband loves hosting, and that’s why he always invites a lot of people to our place, and the responsibility to feed those falls upon me.

I need to cook for 20 people, what do I do?

Not panic, but whip out my pressure canner cooker and get to it. My all-time favorite pork recipe is sweet and sour pork which everyone in my family loves.

Usually, pork takes a lot of time to tender, and when I have people waiting for food, I can’t make them wait that long.

With my pressure cooker canner, I pop in all the ingredients, the sauces, and the pork, screw the lid and put it on medium heat over a gas stove.

( Another warning; always use your All American products on a gas range and never on a glass or ceramic stove top as it will damage the sides of your range, and it will not even work properly ).

After 60 minutes, I let the cooker release the pressure naturally for 15 minutes, and when it is safe to open the lid, I open it, and the meat is cooked to perfection.

Now everyone is in love with my homemade pork, and they are often requesting me to make it.

With the huge capacity of this pot, I made a very big batch and certainly had lots of leftovers.

An amazing facility it is to have a pressure cooker and canner in one.

I immediately pulled out my quart sized jars and tried to pressure can the pork in my All American.

After reading the instructions in the provided manual, I had to can the jars for 90 minutes on high pressure.

I did exactly that, and as meat is a low acid food, I also had no other option. After the allotted time.

I let the steam release naturally, and my jars were canned and could be placed on the shelf for around 6 months or even more.

So after all those procedures and trials, I concluded that the All American pressure cooker canner is certainly the best choice for all your domestic needs, as it provides you with all kinds of satisfactory performance.

Pros
  • Huge size, fit for a huge family.
  • Included safety mechanisms.
  • Well-built with sturdy equipment.
  • Metal to metal sealing, so no sealing ring is required, which makes the repairing and up keeping almost obsolete.
Cons
  • A little bit heavy when it’s full.
  • As it has a lot of space so takes some time to build the pressure.
  1. Ninja OL701 Foodi 14-in-1 SMART XL 8 Qt. Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer:

If money and space are not a big problem for you and you love having big multi cookers in your kitchen, then you will never find any other brand than ninja Foodi, more compatible for you.

Aside from fighting and throwing stars, the word ninja is now associated with one of the biggest brands of electrical kitchen appliances.

I use their bullet blenders on a daily basis to make shakes and smoothies, and oh, it’s just a wonder to work with those mixers.

Other than blenders, ninja provides you with a wide range of par excellence pressure cookers.

The preceding variants of ninja cookers were already so efficient with their performances and did everything so perfectly that it wasn’t possible to top that.

But to impress us more, the manufacturers introduced two more advanced technologies in the new variants, i.e., steam and bake, steam and crisp.

Now we might think, how is it possible for a pressure cooker to crisp something, isn’t that the function of an air fryer.

The answer is YES, This is definitely an air fryer’s feature, but the new ninja Foodi pressure cooker is developed in such a way that it also works as an air fryer and provides you with three over the top cooking modes.

I myself bought this product to test out and see if this pot even stands its hype and does what it is expected to do.

MY TEST AND REVIEWS;

I always wanted to test a pressure cooker which also works as an air fryer, but products like that are very hard to find.

But Amazon has made it easier for me to find what I’m looking for in a very accessible way.

I ordered the product at a very affordable price range and was impressed at the fast delivery and how the package was delivered to my gate in perfect condition with no damages.

The setup of the pot was pretty easy, and it came with a separate frying lid with 3.2 liter capacity, a grilling rack, and two lids, one for pressure cooking and the other for air frying.

The air crisp technology is something which I have always loved working with.

As this is an electric cooker, so there’s no need for stove tops, and I can cook nutritious food in no time

For the first time, I tried making rice in the pot as it comes with various presets, which provide an easy way for you to cook, and you don’t have to go through the hassle of regulating time and pressure.

I poured in rice and, according to the pressure manual, poured in water in the same ratio as the rice and, from the front LED panel, chose the preset for rice.

In just 15 minutes were rice was ready to eat. Its safety mechanisms didn’t let the lid open until the pressure was reduced.

After opening the lid, steam came out, and we all enjoyed perfect rice.

For the air frying option decided to steam some dumplings and then crisp their outer skin. The setting of the basket and air fried lid was pretty easy.

I set up my dumplings inside the basket and filled it up with a little bit of water for the steaming, and after the steaming, all the water vapors evaporated, and the dumplings were air fried to the crisp.

After trying out this pot, I basically fell in love with this dual technology, as it does all of the work expected from it.

Pros
  • Dual technology which lets you cook in three modes, slow cook, pressure cook, and air fry.
  • Easy to use and comes with multiple safety mechanisms.
  • Time consumption is reduced, which leads to less power consumption.
Cons
  • A bit heavy and bulky, so it will need a lot of counter space.

MY TEST AND REVIEWS:

The t-fal Clipso is actually one of the first pots from the brand to hit the market.

It is safe to say that as soon as Amazon is providing them and keeping them in stock while providing amazing service to their customer.

These pots will never go out of fashion and will always be used as a kitchen essential

Coming ahead to my testing process and reviews, this is actually pretty easy to use product which has no complications.

It has a capacity of around 7 liters which means you can cook up to 3/3.5 liter worth of food in the pot, which is enough if you have a small family.

To try this pot, I made something very basic in it, beans.

The pot seemed to heat up pretty fast when I put it up on heat after securing the lid. It has a very easy to lift lid, which I was able to remove with only one hand.

The lid also wasn’t opening, but then I realized that without releasing a lot of steam, this pot wouldn’t open, which saved me many times from burning myself.

When cooked for 10 minutes, my beans were cooked but not mushy like the beans you find in salads. After 2o minutes, they became soft and mushy, ideal for soups and mashes.

This just proved the accessibility and safety of the T-Fal Clipso, and now I will recommend you all to rush to Amazon and get your hands on this beauty before it goes out of stock.

Pros
  • It saves a lot of time since your food will be ready in 15-20 minutes instead of 2 hours.
  • Heat insulated lid, which is very easy to close and open.
  • With this pot, the steam vent is actually rotating, with which you can change its direction and save yourselves from steam burns.
Cons
  • Not dishwasher safe.
  • It doesn’t have a timer or alarm, so you’ll have to be cautious.
  1. Instant Pot Max 6 Quart Multi-use Electric Pressure Cooker with 15psi Pressure:

While our grandmothers and mothers were experts at using manual stove top pressure cookers and were always comfortable when using them, most of our generation is scared of even going near a manual pressure cooker in fear of explosions and safety issues.

People stopped pressure cooking because of our potential fears, and it fell out of usage.

Still, all of this was changed by the arrival of an instant pot electric pressure cooker, and an instant surge was noticed in the usage of pressure cookers.

Pressure cooking is made very easy by the introduction of revolutionary instant pot max, which cooked food in a fraction of time.

You can even place your frozen meat in there, and the end product will be a hot meal which is completely cooked and delicious.

Instant pot is a self-contained, electrical pressure cooker controlled by the big LED panel on the front of it, which includes multiple pre designated presets.

These preset include easy temperature and pressure setting in which you just have to select the desired one, and all the work will be done for you automatically.

The presets include sous vide, yogurt making, sauté, steamer, slow cooker, nutriboost, cake maker, and pressure cooking.

You can make whatever you want in this pot with so many options included.

All the instant pots are almost the same in their functionality, but instant pot max enables us to regulate pressure and temperature.

It also makes you able to control the delayed cooking time, elevation setting, and pressure level.

All are included with a smart lid which has a temperature sensor.

After maneuvering the thoughts of getting an instant pot max, I finally bought it from amazon, and I have never made a better decision.

Below I have summed up my long and elaborate testing of this pressure cooker and how it has impressed me the most.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

At first glance of this pot, the quantity of this pot is perfect for 5-6 people.

The quality of this pot is definitely unmatchable as it has a sleek stainless silver body and inner pot, which makes the pot rust resistant and durable for the long run.

Aside from the display, another thing that differentiates the max pot from others is that it is capable of reaching very high pressure, and you can even use this pot for canning purposes.

The pot even has nutriboost technology, which acts as an auto stir for your rice and soups.

This feature improves taste and texture, which also multiplies the nutrition level.

To test its abilities, I decided to cook a chicken breast in it.

I had three pressure options to choose from, high, medium, or low.

The breast was put in frozen, and after 10 minutes, it was a pressure cooker perfectly at medium pressure.

I had two options for pressure releasing, quick release and pulse release.

The pulse release actually took very long to release the pressure (24 minutes), so not going to use that function anymore.

The sous vide function also works perfectly, but as the size is a bit small, I wasn’t able to fit more than 4 small pieces of steak in it, but all that I was able to fit was cooked perfectly, and everything came out perfectly.

For canning purposes, I tried canning my potatoes.

I first sterilized the jars and lids and filled them with my ingredients.

I placed my steaming rack in the pot and pressed the canning function.

The process was extremely fast and easy, and I was able to can my fresh potatoes for a really long shelf life.

I was really impressed by seeing all the accessories that came along with it.

It comes with a measuring cup, spatula, rice paddle, condensation collector, and steaming ring.

Even the steaming rack is equipped with handles which makes up for easy lifting and handling.

Also, this pot is completely automatic, and you don’t need to set a valve or gaskets in place.

The max is certainly one of the best easy to use, and it’s certainly a quality device. Overall, the max is a stellar device as compared to other multicookers.

Pros
  • It is very smart, safe to use, and excellently incorporates the taste and nutrients in your food.
  • It has highly innovative features which uplift the idea of smart pressure cooking.
  • Wide variety of cooking options to choose from.
Cons
  • The pot might be a bit difficult to figure out for some people and will pose a learning curve.
  1. Hawkins CB30 Hard Anodized Pressure Cooker, 3-Liter, Contura Black:

We are always looking for healthy and quick methods to cook our food, and if something fits the previous criteria, then it is crazy expensive and completely out of range.

People who are working on a tight budget also deserve to have some kind of assistance and help in their everyday chores, and to help you with that; we tried out the Hawkins hard anodized pressure cooker.

This was something new for us when we heard the word hard anodized as previously we only had worked with stainless steel and aluminum pressure cookers.

So it is our utmost priority to give you a clear idea about what is in the market and the best product for you by giving a very authentic and personal review of that product.

Hawkins is one of the brands which provide high quality, and they always work with providing the best.

Hawkins pressure cookers are stove top and manual cookers, which might be a bit difficult at first.

First, we need to understand what hard anodized cooker is.

This term actually refers to a certain kind of cookware made by hard anodized aluminum.

Hard anodized aluminum is actually produced by passing aluminum through an electrolytic process.

This process creates a hard oxidized layer on the outer side of aluminum which is non porous and protects your cookware from scratching or catching rust.

When a cookware is hard anodized, there is no way the metal can leech into your food or react with any acidic foods, which is sometimes the case in low quality aluminum products

Just like all the other cookers, I sourced the Hawkins Contura in black from Amazon, and as usual, amazing and timely delivery with no extra charges.

MY TEST AND REVIEW:

When the package arrived, it was very cute and small perfect for any kitchen.

There is only one color that comes, that is black, and even that black looks very sleek and modern.

According to Amazon, the pressure cooker comes in seven sizes from which you can choose the perfect size for your family.

I chose the 4 liter pot as that seems to be enough for my daily kitchen usage as I have a small family.

I chose to cook mutton curry in the Hawkins pot, and I had no problem with any of its performance aspects.

First, I needed to sauté the onions and tomatoes, which will form the curry paste, with its non-porous hard anodized aluminum layer.

None of the onions or tomatoes were stuck at the bottom.

After the sautéing was done, I washed the pot, and it was also very easy to wash with a little bit of warm soapy water.

After that, I put my mutton in the pot with curry paste and enough water to create steam inside the cooker.

After 6-7 whistles, my meat was done, that means quicker than many of the pressure cookers I have used before.

The lid created a very secure and tight seal around the pot, and I couldn’t lid until the pressure was reduced.

This all led me to conclude that this cooker is perfect for all your kitchen needs, from tice cooking to meats and beans at a steal-worthy price.

Another plus is that it is covered by a 5-year warranty.

So if anything goes wrong with your cooker you know you’ll be in good hands.

Pros
  • The cooker comes with sturdy handles and creates an airtight seal when closed properly.
  • It is impossible for this pot to corrode.
  • Light weight and very easy to manage.
Cons
  • The whistle of the pot might be a bit noisy.
  1. Instant Pot Ultra 80 Ultra 8 Qt 10-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker:

When we go out to buy a pressure cooker, or anything else for that matter, the two most crucial elements we evaluate are convenience and reliability.

Customers want something which is very easy to use and something which will stay with them for a long time and run smoothly without any blunders or damages.

Those who are already aware with the instant pot, brand might agree with me that they provide convenience and reliability, all paired up with overall performance and accessibility.

The instant pot has been in the market for not long, but it has definitely made a place for itself and Is now known as the best electric pressure cooker there can ever be.

And for the people, who already love the instant pot pro and max, heads up to you, you’re in luck with another one of their products, instant pot ultra.

It is made with advanced technologies keeping in mind that this generation is much paced and needs something to match their speed.

For you kitchen aficionados, this pot is designed for you to have an unlimited number of programs right in your hands.

MY TEST AND REVIEWS:

Everyone who loves instant pot like me should have the best update in their homes, and they deserve it too.

As someone who appreciates tech over the kitchen, I highly appreciate the functionality of this pot, and needless to say, this works perfectly as a pressure cooker.

In the old pots from IP, you needed to revolve the knob in order to seal the lid.

But with this upgrade, say hello to the automatic steam sealing and releasing system.

In terms of interface, this panel seems a lot cleaner and easy to use, and by rotating the knob, you will find the desired preset on the touch screen digital panel.

In this new pot, I made cakes and eggs easily by placing a steaming rack inside the pot and putting the cake pan or egg pans on top of the steam rack, filling it with a little bit of water, and voila, perfect cake and perfect eggs.

Even though I wasn’t able to perform canning in this cooker, I easily and effectively sterilized jars and lids for canning.

Even sous vide is made easy by the instant pot ultra.

It provides a very hands off experience with cooking, and it maintains the temperature in the water all by itself.

After cooking all of my meals, now I can keep them warm in the cooker for many hours while I do the rest of my chores.

The instant pot ultra is definitely nothing without its core functions, and that is what we all love.

Adding new custom features with them being very simple is the reason we all have never stopped using it.

Pros
  • Bake and eggs button on the preset, and you guys know how much we love boiled eggs and cheesecake.
  • With the delay timer, you can choose a time you want your food to start cooking. This feature is great for people who run on a tight ship and need some flexibility.
  • For yogurt lovers, you only want to add good bacteria to your food, and this pot sterilizes the lid and pot in such a way that no harmful bacteria can enter your food.
Cons
  • There might be a learning curve, trying to figure out the complex functions.
